MicroGDS is able to save MicroGDS data in XML format, an international standard of ever increasing importance to those wishing to exchange and publish data. The flexibility of XML, plus the growing number of free and commercial tools which support processing, manipulation and translation of XML format data, make it an ideal choice for exporting MicroGDS data for further processing.

Our XML representation is 100% complete and accurate. We have publicly documented our data structures as an XML Document Type Definition (DTD). If you are a MicroGDS user the DTD is already in your programs folder. MicroGDS is even able to read back your XML files for editing exactly as if they were in MicroGDS native format!
