Piranesi Tutorials
Sit back and let us show you how to get the best out of Piranesi for Windows with our tutorial movies. The movies take you through some of the key features of Piranesi 5, and show you how to use these features in combination to generate particular painting effects.

More detailed scripted tutorials are provided with the Piranesi product.

If you have Piranesi 5 you can work through these tutorials for yourself. For each tutorial you can download epix files, textures and styles. These are supplied as a zip file which you should extract to a convenient folder of your choice.

Movies in WMV format require Windows Media Player 9 or later. Some features shown are not available in the demo version of Piranesi.

Using Piranesi Locks
Locks are fundamental to Piranesi. Using locks, you can restrict your painting actions to particular materials or 3D planes, without the need to define masks.

Using Styles
The style manager enables you to develop an effect, then save all the relevant tool settings for future reuse. Piranesi ships with a large range of ready-made effects, which you can summon via the style manager.
