Informatix unveils the next generation of its flagship 3D Design

Informatix Software International (ISI), the authors of both MicroGDS and the world-leading 3D visualisation software Piranesi 2010 announced the release on Friday, February 26th, and in recognition of its 15th birthday, of the next generation of its flagship 3D CAD and Visualisation BIM software MicroGDS 2010.

MicroGDS 2010 is being simultaneously released on the Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 platforms in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, and continues its highly regarded and highly productive interoperability with Microsoft Application Software and Infrastructure technologies. >>more

    PC Pro Magazine awards Piranesi an overall rating of 5 out of 6 stars in their latest review: “In a world of me-too software Piranesi 2010 Pro is a real standout: it does something that no other application does, and does it brilliantly well”. PC Pro highlights Piranesi's 3D output, saying “the ability to quickly convert their 3D renders for true 3D viewing via cheap anaglyph glasses will be reason enough to buy Piranesi 2010 Pro”.     AEC Magazine features London architects ttsp and shows their innovative use of MicroGDS to access drawings remotely when working on site. “Running MicroGDS as a thin client over Terminal Services has proved hugely successful for ttsp.   • MicroGDS 9 end-of-life May 2010
    Following our announcements to customers earlier this year, we would like to confirm that MicroGDS 9 has now reached end-of-life status. This means that there will be no more upgrades for MicroGDS version 9 (or earlier). MicroGDS 9 was released in 2005 and has been superseded by MicroGDS 10, and by our current version, MicroGDS 2010.
