Dear GDS customer:

Graphic Data Systems is pleased to announce that we have worked out an agreement with Informatix Software International Limited (ISIL) to continue the Classic GDS software maintenance support beyond April 30, 2000. As you are probably aware, ISIL is currently contracted directly with GDS Corporation (GDSC) to provide software maintenance development and support services on the Classic GDS product. ISIL staff include many of the original developers of Classic GDS.

In the arrangement, GDSC will retain ownership of the product, but all support, including updates, software assistance, and invoicing, will be conducted directly by ISIL. ISIL will be contacting customers early next year to work with you to put a maintenance agreement in place to continue your Classic GDS support. Your current maintenance contract with GDSC will terminate effective April 30, 2000.

On another positive note, the GDS 5.8 release is on schedule and will be shipping to customers in the latter part of the first quarter of 2000. This release will contain bug fixes and other modifications to allow the software to work with newer versions of operating systems and databases. As we have communicated in the past, you will want to be on at least version 5.7 if you plan to run GDS into the year 2000. Previous versions were found to have problems that were fixed in the 5.7 release.

Should you have any questions regarding this correspondence or other issues, please contact Mark Post at 303-741-8463, via FAX at 303-741-8474, or via e-mail at mark.post@cvg-grp.com
